Circus Center is a nonprofit circus-arts training hub founded in 1984 as the San Francisco School of Circus Arts and later renamed, evolving from the Pickle Family Circus. Housed in the former Polytechnic High School gym at 755 Frederick Street, it offers classes, youth programs, and periodic performances and residencies (including People’s Circus Theatre) steps from Golden Gate Park and Kezar Stadium. The Haight-Ashbury facility serves beginners through professionals across aerial, acrobatics, juggling, and clowning.

Street parking is limited; Circus Center notes nearby paid options including the ABC Parking Lot at Frederick & Stanyan (entrance on Stanyan) and UCSF garages at 500 Parnassus and 350 Parnassus, plus free 3-hour spaces in Golden Gate Park within a short walk.
