San Francisco Bay Ferry serves the Mare Island Ferry Terminal on Nimitz Ave with direct service via the Vallejo/Mare Island route; SolTrans provides local bus connections to the ferry terminals, and large events sometimes add special shuttles between Vallejo and Mare Island.
