About

Located in the subterranean level of the Swedish American Hall, which was built in 1907 and officially designated a San Francisco Historic Landmark in 2015, Café du Nord has been serving San Francisco (almost) continuously since 1907. The space features a calendar of music programming, hosting intimate live music sessions featuring talented bands that reinvent the music landscape.

Music Concourse Garage is steps from the Academy’s main entrance, with entries at Fulton St/10th Ave and Music Concourse Dr/MLK Dr; limited free street parking is available on MLK Dr, Nancy Pelosi Dr, and Blue Heron Lake Dr (arrive early on busy days).

Public transit

Muni access includes 44 O’Shaughnessy stopping directly in front, 5 Fulton (Fulton & 8th Ave), 7 Haight (Lincoln & 9th Ave), and the N Judah at 9th Ave & Irving St (about a 10?minute walk); riders from BART can transfer to these Muni lines.
