Defiance formed in 1993 from the ashes of three of Portland’s seminal Anarcho-punk bands, Deprived, Resist and Unamused.

The band quickly made a name for themselves with their uncompromising no-frills punk rock, straight forward political lyrics, and imagery that could have been lifted from UK ‘82. It wasn’t long, either, before the band’s chaotic nature, penchant for alcohol and

other indulgences, and a bad habit of attracting unwanted attention from the law gained them a reputation as, well, a little unpredictable...

Defiance has weathered the changes and the chaos of the past years, having released four full-length Lps, numerous singles and Eps, and multiple tours of the USA, Europe, Mexico, Japan and Canada.

Often cited as a UK82 band due to their releases on both Riot City and No Future, plus crossover with members playing for Blitzkrieg, Mayhem, Discharge, Flux Of Pink Indians amongst others, THE INSANE actually formed in Wigan in 1979 and original 1979 members Simon Middlehurst & Barry Taberner with Dean Porter and former members Paul Aspey and Simon Pratt are now back together. Definitely a set that's not to be missed.

Japanese clockwork punk and oi! band based in Tokyo, formed in 1996 and played their first gig in 1997.

Öil! is a San Francisco-based Oi! punk band formed in 2001 by Corporal Boots, known for raw, 80s-style street punk featuring themes of brotherhood and working-class pride.
