This electrifying ensemble delivers the soul-stirring sounds of these trailblazing San Francisco bands, blending the fiery interplay of Latin Jazz and Rock with pulsating Latin rhythms and Afro-Cuban beats. Their performances transport you back to the psychedelic, boundary-breaking days of Winterland and The Fillmore, where Latin Rock was born.

Leading the charge is Leo Rosales, a legendary original member of Malo, alongside Gabriel Manzo, the virtuoso lead guitarist who commanded stages for over 32 years. Together, they craft an authentic, high-octane Latin Rock experience that erupts with passion and precision.

MOMOTOMBO-SF’s members are no strangers to greatness, having shared stages with icons like Santana, Jorge Santana Band, Sly & the Family Stone, Taj Mahal, Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, Los Lobos, Pete Escovedo, Bo Diddley, and more.
