Rexx Life Raj has spent ten years proving an artist can build it all on his own terms: the catalog, the audience, the story. From Berkeley, without a major label, he has built a catalog with more than 500 million streams, headlined tours nationwide, and developed one of the most engaged direct-to-fan communities in independent music.
That independence forced him to become more than a recording artist. Raj learned advertising, production, video, audience strategy, and creative technology firsthand, and now applies them across everything he touches, from fan experiences to app building to brand collaborations he treats as creative partnerships rather than endorsements.
His collaborators include Kehlani, E-40, Russ, Kenny Beats, and Larry June. His model is his own. For artists trying to build sustainable careers without giving themselves away, Raj is what the finished blueprint looks like.
