JEREMY PELT QUINTET

One of the most celebrated trumpeters of his generation, Jeremy Pelt, has secured a distinct place in modern jazz through his acclaimed recordings and extensive international touring. As a leader, he has released more than two dozen acclaimed albums and toured the world, appearing at major festivals and premier concert halls across the United States and Europe.

Recognized early as a major emerging talent, Pelt was named Rising Star – Trumpet five consecutive years by DownBeat Magazine and the Jazz Journalists Association.

He first gained wide attention through his work with the Mingus Big Band and has since performed and recorded with leading artists including Ravi Coltrane, Cedar Walton, Jimmy Heath, Nancy Wilson, and Bobby “Blue” Bland. A veteran collaborator with ensembles such as the Roy Hargrove Big Band, The Village Vanguard Orchestra, and the Duke Ellington Big Band, he also performs regularly with the Lewis Nash Septet and The Cannonball Adderley Legacy Band featuring Louis Hayes.
