About
Welcome Strawberry is an Oakland-based project led by Cyrus VandenBerghe. The group released a self-titled debut in September 2022 and followed with the LP Desperate Flower (July 2025) on Cherub Dream / à La Carte Records; their music has been covered by outlets such as Stereogum and Coastal Reverb. Recent releases include the surprise EP Floral Arrangements (May 2026) and collaborations with producer/mixer Jorge Elbrecht on earlier material.
