Led by guitarist–vocalist Stu Allen, Mars Hotel is a Bay Area project built around a revolving cast of players that performs long-running tribute-night residencies at Ashkenaz in Berkeley and frequent festival appearances across Northern California. The group is known for recreating historic concert setlists and using new band configurations for each show, while Allen also appears as a guest with notable jam-band ensembles.
