Starship starring Mickey Thomas is the touring incarnation fronted by longtime lead vocalist Mickey Thomas. The group scored multiple Billboard Hot 100 No.1 singles in the mid-1980s, including "We Built This City" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (the latter received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 60th Academy Awards). Thomas revived and has toured under the name "Starship featuring Mickey Thomas" since the early 1990s.
