About
The Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus (SGMC) was founded in 1984 to provide community and support for gay men during the AIDS epidemic. It has grown into one of the Sacramento region’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ performing arts organizations, presenting seasonal concerts and community outreach programs. SGMC is an active member of the broader GALA chorus community and regularly appears in local media and civic events.
