Randall King

Lubbock’s Red Dirt Country artist, Randall King, grew up on the plains of west Texas in the famous town of Amarillo, influenced by artists both legend and new. Icons like Hank Williams, George Jones, Merle Haggard, as well as George Strait, Eric Church, and Wade Bowen influenced the writing of King. He moved to Lubbock, TX in the fall of 2009 where he began brewing his own unique blend of Country and Southern Rock songwriting. After a couple years of searching, he found the pieces to his band that brought soul to his art. He teamed up with producer Brett Brock of Lubbock, TX and co-produced his first of many albums to come. The Band released their debut album, Old Dirt Road, and have been making a splash in the Red Dirt scene with their single, Don’t Ask Her Tonight which made #62 of the top 100 songs of Lubbock, TX by New Slang, and has made the top 5 at 5:00 of the Red Dirt Rebel consistently and shows no signs of slowing down. Their newly released album was recently voted #4 of the top 5 Lubbock albums of 2013 by New Slang.
