About
Founded in 1996 by Kevin Barnes, of Montreal grew from an Elephant 6–linked collective into Barnes's long-running recording and touring project. The group earned wider recognition with the 2007 album Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? and is known for prolific output, theatrical live shows, and a rotating cast of collaborators.
