Mojo is the vocalist, accordionist, songwriter and longtime leader of Mojo & The Bayou Gypsies, a Louisiana-based ensemble active since the 1980s. He has released roughly 20–25 albums, is the subject of the documentary "The Magic Behind the Mojo" (2018), helped secure the zydeco rubboard's inclusion in the Smithsonian, and has received humanitarian and industry awards including NAPAMA's Liz Silverstein award.
