Jon Spencer (born February 5, 1965) is an American singer, guitarist, and bandleader who has been active since 1983. He led a long-running project that released landmark albums such as Orange and Now I Got Worry, and his work helped bring a blues-inflected approach to wider alternative audiences. After announcing the end of his long-running group in 2022, he has issued new music and toured under his own name.
