John Timothy Payne (born 29 September 1958) is an English singer, bassist and songwriter who was the lead vocalist and bassist of Asia from 1991 to 2006, appearing on multiple studio and live releases and touring internationally. He formed ASIA Featuring John Payne in 2007, later co-founded Dukes of the Orient, created the touring show The Rock Pack, and was a co-creator of the Las Vegas production Raiding the Rock Vault.
