CHYL (Ruochen Shi) is a Chinese-Canadian producer who left a finance career after graduating from Columbia University to pursue music and studied at ICON Collective. She gained early attention when a 2022 remix went viral, released her Monstercat debut single "Fool Me" in 2023, and has since released music on labels including Dim Mak while playing festival/mainstage dates such as Countdown and headline shows like the Hollywood Palladium.
