awakebutstillinbed is the solo project of Shannon Taylor, active since 2017. The debut album what people call low self-esteem is really just seeing yourself the way that other people see you was re-released on Tiny Engines in 2018 and received positive press (including a 7.7 from Pitchfork) and placement on BrooklynVegan's list of the 100 Best Punk & Emo Albums of the 2010s. The project released the LP chaos takes the wheel and i am a passenger in 2023 and has toured across the U.S.
