Founded by vocalist Johnny Skulls and guitarist Dax Dabs after years working in Los Angeles, Above Snakes broke out with the 2020 single "Adrenaline" and has since earned multiple Sirius XM Octane premieres and active-rock charting singles. The band has toured nationally with acts such as From Ashes To New, Drowning Pool and Otherwise, and in 2026 worked with songwriter Johnny Andrews on the single "Make Amends," which received radio adds and chart placements.
